We’ve been to Aruba several times now but this trip was unlike any other experience we’ve had. We decided to try staying outside of the high-rise, northern side of the island where we had stayed many times and instead rent out some space on the outskirts called Savaneta, at the “Coral Reef Aruba Apartment”. The trip was supposed to be a more genuine and rustic experience but on first impression we were more than disappointed.
Congratulations Jill and Jesse! Once again it was a pleasure working with you two. Your wedding was fabulous and it was great to see you guys again. Their getting-ready, ceremony, and reception were all held at the The St. Regis New York which made it easy to go from one to the other as well!
What started off as an impromptu family vacation turned out to be one of the most touching and moving experiences I’ve had in a long time. In the span of just a day or two, we made the decision to take the family for a three-day retreat to The Lodge at Woodloch over in Hawley, PA. It’s just over a two-hour drive and so when we left Friday evening, with some traffic, we arrived on empty stomachs and ready to rest.
I met Jill actually shooting her friend, Gina’s wedding at Russo’s On The Bay at Howard Beach, NY in June of last year! (Gina’s wedding was fantastic if you were wondering) Jill really liked the way that I worked with Gina and Andrew because we were so comfortable with each other and so soon after Gina’s wedding was over, I got a call from Jill saying that she wanted to work with me for her engagement and wedding as well!
